UGANDA
OUR APPROACH TO UGANDA
We are committed to a regenerative and responsible approach to wildlife and cultural travel in Uganda, ensuring our activities benefit both the environment and the surrounding local communities.
Our gorilla and chimpanzee tracking experiences are carefully managed with small group sizes and strict viewing guidelines to minimize disturbance to these primates, with a portion of our proceeds dedicated to conservation efforts. We also engage the communities on the periphery of these delicate forest reserves to provide much-needed income that comes not at the expense of the parks, but because of them.
In our safari experiences, we emphasize ethical wildlife viewing, collaborate with eco-conscious lodges and camps to reduce our environmental impact, and only hire wildlife guides from the immediate surrounding communities.
Our cultural tourism initiatives are developed in close partnership with local communities, especially in the rarely visited remote northeast of Uganda, offering authentic experiences that respect local customs and traditions. These include community-led tours and cultural performances, providing direct economic benefits to local people.
