My name is Sami Mohammed, and I was born and raised on the island of Socotra. I am a founding member of Socotra Ecotours, a sustainable ecotourism company that started in 2014. I recently returned to Socotra after completing my postgraduate degree in environmental science from the University of Mendel in the Czech Republic. I am very sociable and approachable and am happy to discuss a wide range of topics ranging from ecology to politics with guests to Socotra, and I am one of the few guides on Socotra with expertise in ecology and environmental science.
